Job summary

Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an LVN/LPN to organize and direct nursing care for residents on the assigned unit in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility.

The successful candidate will administer prescribed medications, document care, coordinate with physicians and the CNA team, and participate in care conferences and quality improvement activities to maintain high standards of resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current State LVN/LPN license with 2+ years of related experience.
• Good standing in state nursing registry.
• Ability to interpret physician orders and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage total nursing care for residents during shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Document progress notes and resident responses.
• Transcribe physician orders and communicate with staff.
• Perform frequent rounds to evaluate care delivery.
• Assure CNA staff follow care plans and document daily.
• Assist in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
• Respond to emergencies following policy.
• Coordinate rehabilitation with therapists.
