Job summary

Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an LVN/LPN to organize and direct unit duties and deliver quality nursing care to residents. Current state LVN/LPN license with at least 2 years of related experience and good standing in the state registry are required.

This role administers medications, transcribes orders, charts progress notes, conducts rounds, and coordinates with therapists to meet 24-hour rehab needs.

Qualifications

• Current State of LVN/LPN with at least 2 years related experience.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide total nursing care during each shift.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Transcribe physician orders and chart progress notes.
• Respond to emergencies following nursing standards and procedures.
• Coordinate residents' rehabilitation with therapists to meet 24-hour needs.
• Follow and update care plans; ensure CNA alignment with the plan.
