Job summary

Providence Living Center in Topeka, KS, is seeking a full-time or PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our rehabilitation nursing team. The position offers a competitive hourly salary, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The LPN will provide total resident care, administer medications, supervise nursing staff, document thoroughly, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Schedule includes 12-hour shifts with weekend rotations and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure with KS Board of Nursing is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents and monitor their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; follow narcotics policies.
• Oversee nursing assistant staff to ensure care plans are followed.
• Complete documentation, admit and discharge residents as needed.
• Report bruises, skin tears, or neglect and maintain HIPAA compliance.
