Summary

This position assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with educational training. Responsible for adhering to all established Standards of Nursing Practices and organizational policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing school leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Long-term care/Rehab/Assisted Living experience preferred
• Current license in the state of employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• Current CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents, visitors, and staff
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Critical thinking skills required
