Job summary

The State of South Carolina's Coastal Regional Center in Summerville seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide daily nursing care, administer medications, monitor health, and maintain a safe living environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will document care and assist with examinations as needed.

This full-time role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for shift differentials up to $3.75/hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package from the state.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a practical nursing program and SC LPN licensure.
• Ability to document care accurately and adhere to policies.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily nursing care, training, activities, and treatment per governing acts and policies.
• Administers routine medications and treatments per nursing protocol and facility procedures.
• Monitors health conditions and assists physicians with examinations and treatments.
• Maintains a safe, sanitary living/work environment and ensures proper documentation.
