Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Pulmonary Unit 7A-7P. The successful candidate will supervise resident care under the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses and ensure high quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include medication administration, admissions, transfers and discharge processes, and performing nursing procedures according to policy while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to supervise staff.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care and staff assignments to ensure quality.
• Prepare/administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents and coordinate transports.
• Perform nursing procedures (catheterization, dressings, suction, drainage care) per policy.
• Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care as needed.
