Onyx Health Consulting is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time weekend shifts in Florida. The LPN provides direct patient care under supervision, administers medications, monitors vital signs, and documents care in EMRs.

Shifts run 7am-3:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm, every other weekend, with daily pay option. Requirements include a current LPN license, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, strong communication and teamwork, attention to detail, and flexibility to work

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications as prescribed.

PART TIME Every other Weekend (7am-3:30pm / 3pm-11:30pm)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The LPN will be responsible for administering medications, taking vital signs, performing wound care and assisting patients with daily living activities. The LPN will also be responsible for documenting patient care in the electronic health record and liaising with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Shifts: PT (7am-3:30pm / 3pm-11:30pm)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician or registered nurse

• Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate

• Communicate with patients and their families about their care and treatment plan

• Document patient visits and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as registered nurses, physicians, and therapists

• Complete patient assessments, coordination of care

• Identify and reports changes in resident’s condition to Registered Nurse

• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety

• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
