Majestic Care Center, a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Camden, New Jersey facility. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents while working closely with our interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health and well-being.
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Conduct initial patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet unique needs
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to our goal of exceptional patient care and outcomes
Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, adhering to infection control practices and adhering to established protocols
Current LPN licensure in the state of New Jersey
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
Minimum 0 years of experience in a long-term care setting; willingness to learn and grow with our team
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with assistance as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
