Job summary

Marshall Medical Centers in Alabama is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform a broad array of nursing tasks under supervision of an RN or provider. The LPN provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama licensure required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained during orientation period.
• PEARS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within the orientation period.
• MOAB certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or provider.
• Assist and reinforce routine patient education.
• Document patient care appropriately.
• Communicate and interact with other team members to facilitate teamwork and quality care.
