Job summary

The Gardens of Taylor Glen in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. The role involves personal hygiene support, medication assistance, mobility aid, and daily living activities for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

Candidates must hold an NC LPN license (or multi-state) and have at least 1 year of healthcare or related experience. Night and day shifts, including weekends, are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in NC or multi-state license.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with physical capability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Available for night and/or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Engage residents in activities essential for daily living.

The Gardens of Taylor Glen located in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. We are looking for someone who will uphold our core values of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualification

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of NC, or hold a multi-state license

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts
  • Night Shift, 7pm-7am available
  • Day Shift, 7am-7pm available
• Weekend availability
