Job summary

The Gardens of Taylor Glen in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. We provide compassionate, patient-centered support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living and medication administration.

The role requires daytime, night, or weekend availability, a valid NC LPN license, and a willingness to perform mobility assistance and house-keeping tasks as part of holistic resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in NC.
• 1 year or more experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic care.
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with meals and physical therapy exercises.
• Plan/prepare meals and assist with daily activities.
• Complete errands and accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform housekeeping and report incidents.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities support as needed.

The Gardens of Taylor Glen located in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. We are looking for someone who will uphold our core values of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualification

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of NC, or hold a multi-state license
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts
  • Night Shift, 7pm-7am available
  • Day Shift, 7am-7pm available
• Weekend availability
