Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Elizabethtown, KY to join our growing team. In this role, you'll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the comfort of your patient's home. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient needs.

Assignments may include pediatric or adult patients. Pay is based on relevant experience and shift type (e.g., day, evening, night).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
