Maxim Healthcare is actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Brandenburg, KY to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the comfort of the patient's home. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in Kentucky is required.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Monitor and document patient status and respond to changes in condition.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
