Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Bowling Green, KY to deliver one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient’s home. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient needs, and assignments may include pediatric or adult patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Kentucky.
• Minimum TB test or Chest X-ray completed.

• Provide skilled nursing services per orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Document nursing diagnoses and data from healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.
