Job summary

Orlando Health Leesburg, FL is seeking a licensed nurse to join our secure primary care and perioperative teams. The role provides hands-on patient care, supports RNs and physicians, and requires IV therapy within 30 days for inpatient/SNF.

You will ensure patient safety, document care, and participate in quality improvement activities. To succeed, you must hold a Florida nursing license, complete the required IV therapy course, and maintain BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an approved nursing program.
• Successful completion of a 30-hour IV therapy course within 30 days of hire for inpatient/SNF only.
• Current nursing license in the State of Florida.
• Maintains BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and operate unit equipment per guidelines.
• Communicate patient condition to RN and healthcare team.
• Assist RN or provider during examinations and procedures.
• Document patient data and education per policies.
• Perform triage and determine next steps in care.
• Administer oral and injectable medications per scope and as directed.
