A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Primary Care Clinic in Edina, MN. The role is 30–40 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, with the possibility of covering every other weekend.

The initial assignment is six months, with opportunities for extension and potential conversion to full-time. Responsibilities include vaccinations, vital signs, patient assessments, emergency care with on-site providers, medication reviews and documentation in the EHR.

Formación

• Licensed LPN with experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room.

Responsabilidades

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and various medications.
• Obtain and document vital signs including BP, HR, RR and temperature.
• Perform routine and complex patient assessments, monitor pain and treatment responses.
• Provide emergency care in collaboration with the on-site provider.
• Review medications for side effects, interactions and contraindications.
• Conduct mental health screenings to assess mood and cognition.
• Document patient histories and treatment information in the EHR.
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, self-care and disease management.
• Coordinate access to healthcare services and community resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers and team members.
• Handle patient registration, intake, scheduling and reminders.
• Assist with patient flow and waiting room management.
• Serve as chaperone during sensitive examinations and maintain privacy.
