Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using the nursing process and following the organization's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN program is required.
• New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
• LPN license required; BCLS required; ACLS if working in Emergency Department required; PALS required within 180 days if ED.

Work Experience

• New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Preferred
• ACLS if working in Emergency Department Required and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days Required
• LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days
