Job summary

IU Health is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its statewide Pre-Triage team, providing telephone-based clinical support to established patients without bedside duties.

This remote, full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and the chance to impact patient experience across Indiana within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited LPN program.
• Active LPN license in Indiana or NLC LPN license.
• BLS certification (AHA) may be required per unit/department policies.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join IU Health's statewide Pre-Triage team. This role provides telephone-based clinical support to established patients.

Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement. Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform.

• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Successful completion of orientation required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
