Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and treatments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharging of residents.
• Document resident care services by charting in resident medical record and department records.
• Educate residents and family members about treatment and rehabilitation.
• Adhere to infection control policies and facility procedures.
• Consult with physician regarding plan of care and notify changes.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of residents.
• Ensure quality of care following DOH and facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to solve resident problems.
