Park Nicollet is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Plastic Surgery team in Minnesota. The role involves direct patient care, escorting patients, documenting vitals, and supporting clinicians with medications and procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross is required and maintained.
• Current state license as a practical nurse is required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Online BLS certification is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document visit information and vitals (height, weight, BP).
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as EKGs and bladder scans as directed by clinician.
• Ensure rooming processes are complete (medication reconciliation, refills, allergy review, immunization reconciliation).
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards.
