Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is hiring an LPN for the Personal Care Unit. The role delivers quality nursing care, coordinates care with CNAs, and ensures patient safety and comfort in a post-acute setting.

The incumbent must hold an active LPN/LVN license, have completed an accredited LPN program, and maintain CPR certification as required. Geriatric experience is preferred and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Attended an accredited LPN program.
• Licensed/registered in applicable State as LPN/LVN; active license in good standing.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients on the personal care unit.
• Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
