Job summary

Seven Hills Pediatric Center in Groton, MA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a per diem role in a medically complex behavioral residence. You will provide hands-on nursing care, health coordination, and advocacy for children with complex needs.

Per diem schedule starts with a minimum of two shifts per month. Benefits exist for full-time and part-time staff, including health insurance options and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/HiSET; MA driver’s license required.
• RN or LPN licensure required.
• 3–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing and medical support to children and youth with complex medical and behavioral needs.
• Assess participants’ health needs and coordinate appropriate medical care and follow-up.
• Monitor and maintain current medication and treatment orders, including identifying and reporting potential side effects or adverse reactions.
• Document nursing interventions, health changes, treatments, appointments, and other required information accurately and timely.
• Serve as a nursing resource and mentor to Direct Support Professionals and other staff.
• Assist with training staff on medication policies, procedures, and healthcare-related practices.
