Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and experience sufficient to understand the major duties of this position.
• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by any US State or Territory.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality nursing care to patients.
• Obtain initial screening history and perform assessments.
• Maintain awareness of patient needs and explain procedures.
• Assist medical provider during patient examinations.
• Collect specimens and order laboratory studies as needed.
• Document accurate information in electronic health records.
• Develop patient education plans as prescribed.
• Teach patients about illness and treatment.
• Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards.
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities.
