Job summary
Mountain Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Black Mountain, NC seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team. You will provide hands-on nursing care, supervise staff, administer medications, and help implement individualized care plans for residents.
Success requires current LPN licensure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally LTC/SNF experience. We offer a supportive environment, competitive wages, and opportunities for advancement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- LTC/SNF experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of staff and safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all Residents under your care by following applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for Residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor and report changes in Residents' conditions to the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in resident care conferences and other interdisciplinary team meetings.
