Job summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a dedicated caregiver who will assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role requires completion of a Practical Nursing Program and BLS, with ACLS in critical care units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the NYS Education or by the licensing authority of another state.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire date; ACLS required in critical care units.
• Exposure Category I: tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue.
• Physically active role with moving, lifting and assisting patients.

Responsibilities
