Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services in Freeman, SD is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our growing team. This full-time role supports patient care across rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, with a schedule of at least 72 hours per pay period.

You will collect data, perform focused nursing assessments, contribute to patient-centered care plans, implement interventions, and collaborate with the health care team to advocate for patients.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in state of practice.
• 1–3 years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs focused nursing assessments.
• Contributes to the patient-centered health care plan with other providers.
• Implements nursing interventions within the care plan.
• Assists in evaluating responses to interventions.
• Maintains safe and effective nursing care.
• Advocates for the best interest of the patient.
• Communicates and collaborates with patients and health care team members.
• Assists with health counseling and teaching.
• Delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.
