Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school, with L.P.N. licensure in Missouri.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years acute care nursing or two years office nursing experience preferred.
• Light typing skills and computer knowledge required; must demonstrate accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to present information clearly to patients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Places patients in exam rooms and records vital signs, medical history, and exam prep.
• Triages patient calls and follows up as required by provider staff.
• Prepares exam rooms and required instruments/equipment for procedures.
• Administers injections and assists providers in patient education materials.
• Draws labs, prepares specimens for shipment, and assists with procedures.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and complies with regulatory requirements.
