Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
• No prior experience required.
• Virginia LPN licensure and BLS certification required; Virginia Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist procedural team during ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsy and drain placements.
• Collect patient data consistent with practice standards and policy.
• Organize and prioritize nursing care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implement age-appropriate interventions under the guidance of the RN or Provider.
• Assist in evaluating care effectiveness toward patient outcomes.
• Provide ongoing instruction and reinforce care plans developed by the Provider/RN.
• Maintain a safe environment and delivery of care.
• Contribute to professional development of self and others.
