Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Methodist Fremont Health. The role coordinates patient care within the clinic, collaborating with physicians and the health team, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include patient education, accurate documentation, lab and medication workflows, and providing compassionate support to patients and families as part of the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Phlebotomy experience required (Floor only).
• Current LPN license valid or compact multistate license; temporary permit acceptable while awaiting licensure.
• BLS certification strongly preferred at time of hire; required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Documents lab, procedures, and appointments on tracking forms.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment and assist with provider exams.
• Assist with telephone triage and patient education per provider instructions.
• Handle prescription renewals and refills following protocols.
• Record patient information accurately and maintain organized work areas.
