Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System's Methodist Physicians Clinic in Fremont is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 7:30am–5pm, Wed off.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff to provide nursing care, education, and support across adult patients, including lab and testing oversight. Responsibilities include triage, care coordination, prescription handling, and ensuring age-appropriate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing school.
• RN license required; BLS/ACLS preferred.
• 6 months nursing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Document lab tests, procedures, and appointments on tracking forms.
• Provide patient and family education per provider directions.
• Perform telephone triage and report patient status to provider.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Handle prescription renewals/inquiries per department protocols.
• Care for patients across age groups per Age Specific Criteria.
• Assist with exam room preparation and patient examinations.
• Assist and perform phlebotomy with proper labeling and handling.
