Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time dayshift, 16 hours weekly (7am–3pm, rotating weekends) in Florida. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support treatment plans.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active LPN licensure in the state, CPR certification, and about one year of clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year clinic experience preferred.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions and contributes to treatment planning.
• Administers medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performs diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts and responds to health emergencies within standard guidelines.
• Documents nursing encounters and communicates effectively with staff and physicians.
• Attends mandatory meetings and training, upholding policies and high-quality patient care.
