Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts in our Nursing department. The role involves under RN supervision, patient education, medication administration (including IV therapy if certified), and contributing to individualized care plans.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active LPN/LVN license in the state of employment, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one year clinic experience.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the applicable state and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Administer medications and provide IV therapy (if certified).
• Assist in procedures and document nursing encounters using SOAP notes.
• Contribute to effective communication among nursing staff and physicians.
• Attend mandatory training and maintain compliance with policies.
