Job summary

Mathison Retirement Community is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shift with flexible PRN coverage in Panama City, Florida. Duties include vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and patient comfort, under supervision of head nurse.

Ideal candidate holds an LPN license, CPR certification, and clinical experience, with a compassionate bedside manner and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Completed state-approved LPN education program
• Current LPN license to practice
• Valid CPR certification
• Experience in clinical or healthcare settings
• Strong data entry and Microsoft Suite skills
• Ability to work long, physically demanding hours

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient health
• Administer medications and manage doses
• Change dressings, insert/replace catheters as needed
• Assist with personal hygiene and feeding
• Record patient data and history accurately
• Maintain clean, sterile rooms and equipment
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Report significant changes in patient condition promptly
