Mayo Clinic, a renowned healthcare provider, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. You will deliver in-person, phone, or video-based care and participate in maintaining efficient clinic workflows.

The role emphasizes patient education, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to improve preventive and chronic care outcomes.

Competenze

• Graduate of a practical nursing program or passed LPN Boards.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program preferred.
• One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required; prior EMR experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Conducts focused assessments and reinforcement of patient education.
• Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments (injections, ear lavages, nebulizers, wound care, catheter care, sutures).
• Supports preventive care services, chronic disease management, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assists with in-clinic procedures.
• Manages a nurse visit calendar and clinic workflows to ensure timely, coordinated care.
• Demonstrates communication skills and may mentor, instruct, or participate in quality improvement projects.
