Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN and weekend shifts in a skilled nursing environment. Join a faith-based organization focused on caring for residents and supporting caregivers.

You will supervise CNAs, collaborate with the IDT to assess and plan care, conduct assessments, and facilitate physician rounds. Prioritizing safety, documentation, and timely care, you will contribute to high-quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review.
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

What You Will Do
