Job summary

Essentia Health's Park Rapids Clinic seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the internal medicine team in Park Rapids, Minnesota. The role runs 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule and roughly three days per week; two Saturday shifts every six months are required.

The position is 0.6 FTE, non-temporary, with benefits and a comprehensive employee program.

Qualifications

• Education as required for licensure.
• LPN: Current LPN licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing.
• CMA: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN, physician and other providers and provide direct patient care in ambulatory setting.
• Cares for patients from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Job Description:

Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse of Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our internal medicine practice at our Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. This LPN or CMA works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Typically this employee will work three days a week, but is a flex employee who may be required to increase or decrease their schedule without notice. No holiday or on-call rotations are required, but two Saturday shifts will be required every six months.
