Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH seeks an LPN to deliver patient care under physician direction within Cardiology Associates - MHP Lima Specialty Care. The role supports nurses and physicians, preparing patients for visits and documenting responses to care.

The LPN will work in a collaborative team, assist with procedures, and perform related duties while upholding Mercy Health values and patient-focused care. BLS and active LPN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to use computer-based patient scheduling/registration systems.
• Works within a fast-paced healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to meet patient/family needs.
• Provides direct basic nursing care per plan of care.
• Labels and packages specimens as trained.
• Assists in clerical/administrative duties as needed.
• Acts as chaperone for examinations.
• Assists provider with procedures, treatments, and interventions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
