Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare seeks an LPN or Certified Medical Assistant to assist with professional nursing care for SIH patients in a clinical setting. The role includes evaluating patient needs, preparing rooms, and supporting physicians or mid-level providers.

The candidate must hold an Illinois LPN or CMA license, be BLS certified, and contribute to patient education and orientation of new staff. Compensation is hourly, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LPN Program or Certified Medical Assistant.
• Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan patient care needs.
• Assist physician or mid-level provider in office setting.
• Set up, stock and clean patient rooms.
• Provides patient/family instructions.
• Assists in the orientation of new employees and students.
