Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Occupational Health to deliver patient care under physician direction. The LPN collaborates with the health care team, prepares patients for visits, and documents responses during appointments.

Requires high school or GED, completion of an accredited LPN program, active LPN licensure, BLS, and ideally 1 year of occupational health experience.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited LPN Program.
• Active state LPN licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1 year of occupational health experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and health care team members to meet patient/family needs.
• Provides direct basic nursing care per LPN scope of practice.
• Labels and packages specimens as trained.
• Assists with clerical/administrative duties as assigned by RN.
• Acts as chaperone during patient examinations as requested.
• Assists with procedures, treatments, and interventions.
• Other duties as assigned.
