Qualifications

• Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Prior long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff across the campus.
• Ensure high-quality resident care and adherence to clinical standards.
• Coordinate resident care with physicians, therapy, social services, and other departments.
• Assist with staffing adjustments and shift coverage needs.
• Investigate and document resident and employee incidents as required.
• Monitor infection prevention practices and regulatory compliance.
• Support staff coaching, education, performance management, and professional development.
• Assist with change in condition management and resident care planning.
• Promote a positive, resident-centered culture focused on dignity, safety, and quality outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, and team members.

The LPN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations throughout the facility during evening hours.
