Job summary

GRANDVIEW is seeking a skilled LPN/LVN nurse supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and to lead day-to-day nursing activities. The role requires management of nursing assistants, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating shifts, reviewing care plans, and participating in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Language skills: English (read, write, speak).
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Oversee discharge planning and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain documentation, charts, and reports as required.
