Benchmark Senior Living in Newton, MA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like setting. You will join a dedicated team and play a pivotal role in resident wellness and safety.

Requirements include an active LPN license and CPR certification, LPN program completion, and 1–2 years of nursing experience with the elderly preferred. Benefits are included as part of a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents' status.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident health.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in their job responsibilities.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers through case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and utilize the personal emergency response system.
