The Palmettos of Parklane in Columbia, SC is seeking a 2nd Shift Nurse Supervisor (3:00pm-11:00pm) to lead a dedicated care team in an assisted living setting. You will oversee resident care, administer medications, and coordinate staffing for the 2nd shift, ensuring high standards of practice and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will be a graduate of a SC-accredited nursing program with an active LPN license and prior supervisory or ALF experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a SC-accredited nursing program.
• Active South Carolina LPN license.
• Experience in an ALF or supervisory role preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing oversight and direct resident care per ALF/SCALF regulations.
• Administer medications and monitor resident health status within the ALF scope.
• Supervise medication techs/nursing assistants on the 2nd shift.
• Coordinate staffing and adjust schedules for call-ins or coverage needs.
• Ensure compliance with SC ALF/SCALF licensure requirements and policies.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and management.
• Promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Serve as on-site nursing leader for the 3:00pm-11:00pm shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program accredited by the State
• Current South Carolina LPN License
• Prior experience in an Assisted Living Facility or supervisory role preferred

Responsibilities Include

• Provide nursing oversight and direct resident care in accordance with ALF/SCALF regulations
• Administer medications and monitor resident health status within the assisted living scope of practice
• Supervise medication techs/nursing assistants during the 2nd shift
• Coordinate staffing and adjust schedules as needed due to call-ins or coverage needs
• Ensure compliance with South Carolina ALF/SCALF licensure requirements and policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and management
• Promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life
• Serve as the on-site nursing leader for the 3:00pm-11:00pm shift
