Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to be a frontline caregiver across our nursing facility. Under RN supervision, you will support care planning, basic treatments, and documentation, ensuring quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for residents in acute or long-term care is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist in care planning and treatments for residents.
• Demonstrate basic nursing knowledge for the resident population on an assigned unit.
• Review medical records to ensure nursing practice meets state and federal guidelines.
• Document care and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
• Review referrals for consultation or treatment and align with nurse plans.
• Pursue professional growth and expand responsibilities to maintain competency.
• Set goals and policies aligned with FutureCare’s nursing facility.
