Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to support residents under the supervision of registered nurses and to deliver compassionate, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR license required.
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist in care planning and treatments for residents.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge to care for residents on assigned unit.
• Review resident records to ensure nursing practice complies with state and federal guidelines.
• Document care and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
• Review referrals for consultation or treatment for relevance to documented nurse plans.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities.
• Set and implement goals and policies aligned with FutureCare’s nursing philosophy.
