Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join the Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. This position offers per diem hours with competitive pay and the ability to pick shifts that fit your schedule.

Earn $37-$39 per hour with options for same-day or next-day pay, plus a weekly pay cycle and a hiring bonus after two shifts. Candidates must hold an active LPN license and have facility-based experience, with BLS/CPR and a current PPD on file.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
