Citadel At Casa Scalabrini is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The LPN assumes responsibility for a group of residents for a shift, delivering licensed care under physician orders and in accordance with facility standards.

Qualified candidates hold a current LPN license in the state and CPR certification; 1 year of experience in long-term care is preferred. The facility offers benefits including daily pay, health insurance, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as an LPN.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Takes and records residents' blood pressure and vital signs; provides respiratory care as ordered.
• Charts nurse’s notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Ensures the resident’s environment is clean and safe; addresses safety risks as prudent.
• Transcribes physician orders to charts, MAR, and care plans; reports to team as required.
