Job summary

Jackson Manor Healthcare is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team in Missouri. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing services, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, and documenting resident conditions.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri LPN license, CPR certification, and preferably one year of nursing experience. Full-time benefits include a $7,000 sign-on bonus, PTO after 30 days, and 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license in Missouri is required.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents.
• Documents that treatment as required.
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner.
