Florissant Valley Health & Rehab is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am) in Florissant, MO. You will provide compassionate nursing care, implement physician orders, and lead individualized care plans within a supportive team at a facility that partners with a large network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care that meets standards and supports residents.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Assigns nursing care to team members.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments.
• Documents that treatment as required.
• Ensures supplies are used efficiently and equipment is kept safe.
