Job summary

Sunset Health Care Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior living team in Missouri. The night shift runs 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with an additional shift differential.

Applicants must hold a valid MO LPN license and CPR certification, with preferred one year of nursing experience. We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with company match, Teledoc,

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid LPN license in state of Missouri.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Maintain working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality; Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing.
• Provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members according to needs and capabilities.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents.
• Documents treatments as required.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are used safely and maintained.
